City of Sandy Springs, City Center Gateway

Ed Castro Landscape was chosen by the city of Sandy Springs to be the general contractor for the landscape installation at I-285 and Roswell Road, known as the City Center Gateway. This project involved extensive grading and site preparation, as well as the importation of over 2,000 cubic yards of soil. This imported soil was graded into planes upon which were installed grids of more than 300 trees and over 4,000 grasses. This project required extensive coordination of materials, labor, and equipment; being such a prominent location for citizens and visitors meant that the site was always being observed. ECL also took additional steps to ensure the safety of our workers as they worked so close to major highways with signage and safety vests. The finished product is a beautiful and dynamic landscape that announces the entrance of Sandy Springs. ECL continues to maintain this site to ensure that it remains free of weeds and debris, as well as healthy and thriving.
